Go Electric Advanced Research and Commercialization Program

The CleanBC Go Electric Advanced Research and Commercialization (ARC) program supports the zero-emission vehicle sector in British Columbia (B.C.) by providing reliable and targeted support for research and development, commercialization, and demonstration of B.C.-based zero-emission vehicle technologies, services and products.

ARC Program

The ARC program provides funding to eligible companies operating across all aspects of the zero-emission vehicle supply chain. The funding is intended to:

Showcase B.C. zero-emission vehicle technologies with export potential.

Support pre-commercial zero-emission vehicle technologies that are made or designed in B.C.

Demonstrate commercial success for B.C.-based zero-emission vehicle technologies.

Support companies in the zero-emission vehicle sector that wish to locate or invest in B.C.

ARC Goals

The goals of the ARC program are to:

Create employment opportunities and expand B.C.-based businesses in the zero-emission vehicle sector.

Attract international investment in the zero-emission vehicle sector to B.C.

Expand exports of B.C.-based zero-emission vehicle products, services and technologies across all aspects of the supply chain.

Where do I access more information about the funding call?
Information about each funding call will be posted on the How to Apply and Resources pages of the website as they are available. Please join our mailing list to stay informed of program updates as they are available.
How do I submit an application?
Applications must be submitted to admin@arcbc.ca using the cover page and template provided on the Resources page.
How will I know if our project has been approved for funding?
A member of the ARC Management team will acknowledge receipt of all Expressions of Interest received via email correspondence. Successful proponents will be asked to submit a full proposal. After a one to two month review period, proponents approved for funding will be notified by the ARC Management team and will enter a Project Grant Agreement before funds are dispersed.
